Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Buizel from the Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card Set. Buizel is a basic, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 70. It has a x2 weakness to electric type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Buizel does not have an Ability and it only has one move called Wave Splash which requires one colorless energy card and does 10 damage.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Buizel has a stage 1 evolution in Floatzel, I would recommend evolving Buizel into Floatzel as soon as possible, but this card is a good card to start your game with because it has an above average hp for a basic Pokemon, and is fast since it only requires one energy card to do damage. So I would try and start the game with Buizel and attach two energy cards to it, then you can evolve it into Floatzel from this set which I'll be reviewing tomorrow and use Floatzel's move that does 60 damage per turn for only two energy cards. This is a basic Pokemon card that I would recommend using on its own, but if you're using this card on its own I wouldn't use more than 1 or 2 in any type deck.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. For a basic Pokemon card that can be used as a starter Pokemon, I think this Pokemon card is very good. Like I stated above, this card has a good hp, low retreat cost, and can attack very quickly, so it is a great card to start your game with. Also, its evolution is very good, so that makes the card that much better because its evolution is that good.
