Dunsparce -- BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Review

Dunsparce BREAKpoint Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Dunsparce from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set.  Dunsparce is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 60, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Dunsparce does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Call for Family and for one colorless energy card this move allows you to search your deck for a Basic Pokemon and put it onto your bench.  Dunsparce's second move is called Ram and for one colorless energy card this move does 20 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Dunsparce is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, this card makes for a perfect starter type Pokemon in any type deck.  It requires only one energy card to attack, colorless type at that, and both moves can be utilized early on.  Call for Family can be used to set up your bench and Ram can be used to do above average damage every turn.  Later on in the game, this card isn't quite as good, but if you can get this card into the active Pokemon spot to start the game, your team will be off to a great start.  I would consider using up to 4 of these in a deck, just to make sure you can get this card in the active Pokemon spot to start.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a slightly above average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set.  Other than just being a little limited later in games, this card is very good overall, with a solid HP, and two quick moves that both do good things.  So if you're looking to build a deck, definitely consider this Dunsparce card.

Dunsparce -- Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Review

Dunsparce Roaring Skies Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Dunsparce from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Set.  Dunsparce is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 60, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a free retreat cost.  Dunsparce does not have an Ancient Trait or an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Burrow, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to discard the top card of your opponent's deck.  Dunsparce's second move is called Rollout, for one colorless energy card this move does 20 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Dunsparce is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, since this card is a colorless type Pokemon, it can fit into any type deck, and if you're looking for a solid starter type Pokemon, or a card to put in the active Pokemon spot to start the game, I would highly recommend putting at least one of these cards in a deck.  This card can attack quickly, doing 20 damage for only one energy card, plus when you get your bench set up, you can retreat this card for free.  And, if you have this card on your bench later in the game, you may be able to win by making your opponent run out of cards in their deck, so Burrow may end up winning the game for you.  Overall, this is just a good Basic Pokemon card to use in any type deck out there.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a very good Basic Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set.  I like that this card has a free retreat cost, and two moves, both requiring only one energy card.  You really can't go wrong with using this card in a deck, so make sure to consider this card when building.

Dunsparce -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Dunsparce Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Dunsparce from the X and Y Pokemon Card Set.  Dunsparce is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 40, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a free retreat cost.  Dunsparce does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Glare, for one colorless energy card this move paralyzes the defending Pokemon if you get a heads when you flip a coin.  Dunsparce's second move is called Second Bite, this move requires two colorless energy cards and does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent's active Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Dunsparce is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, I would probably avoid using this card in a deck because of its low hp, but because this card does have a free retreat cost, I could see adding just one of these to my deck and using the Second Bite move to knock out Pokemon very quickly, the only risk when using this strategy is to make sure that Dunsparce won't be knocked out right after it knocks out the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a slightly below average basic Pokemon card from the X and Y set.  The biggest knock on this card is the low hp which means this card later in games may not have much of a chance of staying in play for more than a turn, but this card's moves are definitely worth pondering and I think this card could be used in a deck, but it is probably best to leave it out.

Dunsparce -- Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Review

Dunsparce Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Dunsparce from the Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Set.  Dunsparce is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 60. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a free retreat cost.  Dunsparce does not have an Ability, but it does have two moves.  The first move it has is called Double Draw, this move allows you to draw two cards for one colorless energy card.  Dunsparce's second move is called Dig, this move also requires one colorless energy card, and does 10 damage, plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin, all effects of attacks to Dunsparce during your opponent's next turn are prevented.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Dunsparce is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  Besides not having any evolutions, because this is a colorless type Pokemon that does not require a specific type of energy to attack, this card will work in any type deck.  I could see using a couple of Dunsparce cards in any deck I'm using because this card is a good starter Pokemon card, it has an average hp so it can stand its own in the beginning of the game, plus with a free retreat cost it is easy to retreat if it gets in trouble.  So I would try and start the game with Dunsparce in the active Pokemon spot, first put one energy cards on Dunsparce, then depending on how strong the opponent is, would determine what move I would use.  I would hope to use Double Draw a couple of turns in a row so I could set up my benched Pokemon, then once my benched Pokemon are set up I would retreat Dunsparce and put in a Pokemon that I was busy setting up when Dunsparce was in the active Pokemon spot.  Because Dunsparce can only do 10 damage and doesn't evolve, I wouldn't put more than two of these cards in a deck, I really want to have this card in my hand to start the game, but I wouldn't compromise more powerful Pokemon in my deck to get more copies of this card in it.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an above average basic Pokemon card.  This card does have an average hp, but it has two quick, very good moves, and not only does this card attack quickly, it is good defensively and can retreat without having to discard any energy cards at all.  I would definitely recommend considering this card for your deck, no matter the type, in my opinion this is an excellent basic Pokemon card.
