Togetic -- Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Review

Togetic Roaring Skies Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Togetic from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card set.  Togetic is a stage 1, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Togetic does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Go Fetch, for one fairy type energy card this move allows you to shuffle 3 basic energy cards from your discard pile into your deck.  Togetic's second move is called Fairy Wind, this move requires three energy cards to use, one fairy and two colorless, and does 40 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Togetic is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Togepi into play (I reviewed Togepi from this set yesterday) and then evolve Togepi into Togetic.  Togetic does have a stage 2 evolution in Togekiss that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed those cards yet, since there are two, the strategy below will act like Togetic is the final evolution in this line.  So if you read my review of Togepi, you'll know that I wasn't a fan of that card.  It had an extremely low HP of 40, and the only move it had, although quick and doing 10 damage, it let your opponent draw a card.  So knowing this about Togepi and looking at this Togetic card, I wouldn't recommend using either of these two cards in a fairy type deck.  The only thing good about Togetic is its Go Fetch move, but you could use Trainer cards or other Pokemon to accomplish this same thing.  Outside of this move, Togetic is mightily underpowered, doing only 40 damage for three energy cards when most Pokemon can do 60 or more damage.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set, the only thing I like about this card is its first move allowing you to move energy cards from your discard pile to your deck.  Other than that, just like Togetic from this set, this card is underpowered and has a low HP.  So together with Togepi from this set, I would give the two cards a 1 out of 5 rating, I would stay away from these two Pokemon.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Togetic from the Roaring Skies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Togetic's stage 2 evolution in Togekiss, which there are two of, from this same set.  Make sure to check below for the Free Pokemon TCG Online Codes!
