Spiritomb -- Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Review

Spiritomb Phantom Forces Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spiritomb from the Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Set.  Spiritomb is a basic, darkness type Pokemon card with an hp of 70, it does not have a weakness or resistance, but it does have a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Spiritomb does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called B Cancel, for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage, plus it prevents your opponent from evolving one of their Pokemon during their next turn.  Spiritomb's second move is called Confuse Ray, this move requires two energy cards, one each of darkness and colorless, and does 30 damage, plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin it confuses the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Spiritomb is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, I definitely wouldn't use more than one of these in a deck if you choose to use one at all.  If you do choose to use one of these in a deck, you would want to get it into the active Pokemon spot early in the game, that way you could prevent your opponent from setting up their Pokemon by using B Cancel and then preventing your opponent from attacking by using Confuse Ray.  Both moves on this card are pretty quick so it would work well as a starter type Pokemon, I just wish the HP would be a bit higher since it doesn't evolve at all.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Phantom Forces set.  I like how this card has two pretty good moves, plus a low retreat cost.  If you're building a darkness type deck, this card is definitely worth consideration, especially to be used as a starter type Pokemon.  So you can't go wrong with using this card in your deck, but I wouldn't use more than one of these.

If you consider Deino, Zweilous and Hydreigon lineup which are dark and Dragon type Pokemon but are Dragon type cards in this set then there are 11 dark type pokemon in this set.
Else there are 8 dark type Pokemon in this set.
