Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Chandelure from the Next Destinies set. This is the first of two Chandelure card reviews from this set, the other Chandulure is a Psychic type card. This is a Stage 2, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Chandelure doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Flame Burst and for one fire energy card it does 30 damage plus 20 damage to two of your opponent's benched Pokemon. Chandelure's second move is called Inferno which takes two energy cards, one each of fire and colorless and does 80 damage and burns the defending Pokemon, however after using this move you must discard all energy attached to Chandelure.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is one quick Stage 2 Pokemon card that doesn't require much energy to attack. I personally like Flame Blast better than Inferno because it spreads damage around and only requires 1 energy card to do so. So you'll want to definitely include this card in a deck with other spread damage type Pokemon. When attacking, depending on the amount of damage needed to knock out the defending Pokemon, I would probably switch back and forth between the two moves.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Like I said in the strategy part of this review, this card is extremely fast for a stage 2 card, with that being said, this card doesn't have a very high hp for a Stage 2 so it may get knocked out sooner than other Stage 2 Pokemon, but boy, can this card pack a punch. As long as you have energy cards in your hand this card can attack every turn and after three turns, this card has the possibility of knocking out some basic Pokemon on your opponent's bench.
