Spritzee -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Pokemon Card Overview:

Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spritzee from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Spritzee is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Spritzee does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Fairy Wind, for one fairy type energy card this move does 10 damage.  Spritzee's second move is called Fickle Attack, this move requires two energy cards to use, one each of fairy and colorless, and does 30 damage, however you must flip a coin when you use this move, if you get a tails the move does nothing.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Spritzee is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Aromatisse, you'll more than likely want to use this card with that Pokemon, however there is not an Aromatisse card in this set, so you'll have to go back and read my X and Y review of Aromatisse to see if you should use that card.  Because there isn't an Aromatisse card in this set I'll just act as though I plan on using this card without its evolution.  So, on its own I would not recommend using this card in a deck.  The only way I would consider using it is as a starter type Pokemon, but because the better of the two moves that Spritzee has, Fickle Attack, it can only hit about 50% of the time and with a low hp of only 50, I would shy away from using this card.  Of course if you have this card in a deck, possibly because you're using it with Aromatisse, I would try and keep it on the bench and evolve it, or just put it into the active Pokemon spot early, put two energy cards on it, and hope you get lucky with Fickle Attack.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  This card is just lacking overall on what it can do, but it isn't lacking from a variety of moves, it just has poor ones, plus a low HP to boot.  So this Basic Pokemon card is a sub-par card in my opinion and one that should not be used on its own.

Florges -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Florges from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Florges is a stage 2, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 110.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resitandce to metal type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Florges does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Brilliant Search, this move requires one colorless energy card and allows you to search your deck ofr up to 3 cards and put them into your hand.  Florges's second move is called Petal Blizzard, this move requires one fairy type energy card and does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Florges is a stage 2 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Flabebe into play and then evolve it into Floette before you can evolve Floette into Florges, all of these Pokemon are in the Flashfire set and I've reviewed those Pokemon the last few days.  If you've read my reviews of those cards, you'll know that there are actually two each of Flabebe and Floette in this set, I am not too big of fan of either Flabebe card in this set, even though I recommend the first one over the second one, and then when looking at Floette, it really depends what type of deck you're running for which Floette card to choose, both are pretty good. So knowing all of this and reading the overview of this Florges card above, I would recommend using this card in a spread damage type deck, thus using it with the first Flabebe card in this set and the second Floette card in this set because Floette also has the Petal Blizzard move.  I would try and get at least Flabebe evolved into Floette on the bench then start attacking with Petal Blizzard.  A good thing about all of the cards in this line is the low retreat cost, but they better have a low retreat cost with such a low hp.  I would not use many of these cards in a deck probably only a 2-2-2 or 1-1-1 line.  If you get Florges into the active Pokemon spot early enough in the game you could always use Brilliant Search and get plenty of energy cards or evolution cards into your hand.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average Stage 2 Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Even though this card has an extremely low HP, I do like both of Florges's moves and if you're building a spread damage type deck, this card will fit perfectly, plus it is a quick card with a low retreat cost.  Overall, if you're looking at Flabebe, Floette, and Florges from this set, I would give the entire line a 3 out of 5 rating unless you're specifically building a spread damage type deck, then I would give the line a 4 out of 5 rating.  Individually I gave a 3 to Flabebe and 4s to Floette and Florges.

Floette #65/106 -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Floette from the Flashfire Pokemon Card set.  This is the second of two Flabebe cards I've reviewed from this set.  Flabebe is a stage 1, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  This Floette card does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has requires one fairy type energy card and does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon, this move is called Petal Blizzard.  Floette's second move is called Razor Leaf, and for two energy cards, one each of fairy and colorless, this move does 30 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Floette is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Flabebe into play (I reviewed both Flabebe cards from this set that past two days) and then evolve Flabebe into Floette.  Floette does have a stage 2 evolution in Florges that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet, the strategy below will act like this Floette card is the final Pokemon in this line but I will be comparing the two Floette cards at the end of this post.  So if you read my previous two reviews on Flabebe, you'll know that I'm not a big fan of both because both of very low hp and only one move a piece, I would actually recommend the first Flabebe card in this set, #62/106 because it can make more of an impact than the second Flabebe card, but I would probably recommend more keeping Flabebe on the bench.  So as far as strategy goes with this specific Floette card, I would use this card if you're building solely a fairy type deck because it doesn't do anything with grass type Pokemon like the other Floette card from this set does.  I would try and build a spread damage type deck to utilize Floette's Petal Blizzard move and try to get this card into the active Pokemon spot earlier in the game because it only has 70 hp.  Both Floette cards from this set are pretty solid, it really just depends on the strategy of your deck which Floette card you'll use.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Just like yesterday's Floette card, I am giving this card an above average rating even though it has a really low hp because this card has a low retreat cost and two very good, and quick moves.  In my opinion, if you don't mind a little lower hp, you really can't go wrong with either Floette card from this set.  Combined with Flabebe, I would only give this line a 3 out of 5 rating, neither Flabebe card from this set is very good at all.

Floette #64/106 -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Floette from the Flashfire Pokemon Card set.  This is the first of two Flabebe cards I'll be reviewing from this set.  Flabebe is a stage 1, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 70.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Floette's Ability is called Flower Veil and gives all of your grass Pokemon in play 20 more hp.  Besides the Ability, Floette just has one move called Fairy Wind, this move requires one fairy type energy card and does 20 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Floette is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Flabebe into play (I reviewed both Flabebe cards from this set that past two days) and then evolve Flabebe into Floette.  Floette does have a stage 2 evolution in Florges that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet and I haven't even reviewed the second Floette card from this set, the strategy below will act like this Floette card is the final Pokemon in this line and that I don't know anything about the other Floette card in this set.  So if you read my previous two reviews on Flabebe, you'll know that I'm not a big fan of both because both of very low hp and only one move a piece, I would actually recommend the first Flabebe card in this set, #62/106 because it can make more of an impact than the second Flabebe card, but I would probably recommend more keeping Flabebe on the bench.  So as far as strategy goes with this specific Floette card, you'll want to put it into a dual type deck of grass and fairy type Pokemon.  That way you can use Floette's Ability with your grass Pokemon and use the fairy type energy to use Fairy Wind.  So I would definitely use this card in a deck of the above type, and I would keep it on the bench to utilize its Ability thus making all of my grass type Pokemon much stronger, then if I need to, I can put Floette into the active Pokemon spot, use Fairy Wind a couple of turns then retreat it back to the bench.  Because Flabebe isn't the greatest and you're going to use Floette mostly for its Ability, I would only use a 1-1 line in your deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Even though this card has a low hp and can only do 20 damage maximum, I am still giving this card an above average rating because of its Ability and how it can make your whole team better.  So if you combine this card with the first Flabebe card from this set, I would give those two cards an average rating, but if you have a dual type of grass and fairy, make sure to use this Floette card in it.
