Jumpluff -- Steam Siege Pokemon Card Review

Jumpluff Steam Siege Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Jumpluff from the Steam Siege Pokemon Card Set.  Jumpluff is a stage 2, grass type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Jumpluff does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Fluffy Transport, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to switch one of your opponent's benched Pokemon with their active Pokemon.  Jumpluff's second move is called Solar Step, for one grass energy card this move does 20 damage times the number of your remaining prize cards.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Jumpluff is a stage 2 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Hoppip into play and then evolve it into Skiploom before you can evolve Skiploom into Jumpluff, both of those Pokemon are from this set and I've reviewed both of them the last two days.  If you've read my reviews of those cards you'll know that I thought both were below average.  The issue I had with both of those cards, and the same is true with this card, is that they all had extremely low HP and limited moves.  I wouldn't recommend using either of those two Pokemon without using Jumpluff.  So taking a closer look at Jumpluff, outside of the extremely low HP for a Stage 2, this card has two pretty decent moves and is worth using a 1-1-1 line of this Pokemon family if you can get this card into the active Pokemon spot very early in the game.  You want to get this card in the active Pokemon spot right away so that Solar Step does more damage and that you will be able to get weaker Pokemon into your opponent's active Pokemon spot when using Fluffy Transport.  So like I said above, definitely consider using this card in a deck, but only if you know you can get this card into the active Pokemon spot early, waiting later in the game to use a Stage 2 card with only 90 HP is not a good idea.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average Stage 2 Pokemon card from the Fates Collide set.  Outside of having a miserably low HP, this card is decent overall, having a low retreat cost, and two very quick moves, both moves having some potential for greatness.  Overall, I would give this entire line a 2 out of 5 rating, not much power in this line and extremely low HP throughout, but if played right, especially this card, can be useful in a deck.
