Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Rayquaza EX and Rayquaza EX Full Art from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Set. There are two different Rayquaza EX cards in this set, this review will be about the colorless type one. Rayquaza EX is a basic, EX, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 170. It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Rayquaza EX does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is called Intensifying Burn, for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage, plus 50 more damage if the defending Pokemon is an EX card. Rayquaza's second move is called Dragon Pulse and for three colorless energy cards does 100 damage, however you must discard the top 3 cards of your deck.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, because Rayquaza EX is a basic Pokemon card you won't need to use any other cards with this card. But remember, because this card is an EX card, if this card is knocked out, two prize cards are taken instead of one. However, Rayquaza does have a mega evolution you could use from this set and I will be reviewing that card tomorrow, so this strategy below will act like Rayquaza EX does not have an evolution. So knowing this, on its own, if you're looking for a bit of power this card may be for you if you're looking for a colorless type Pokemon card to use in your deck. I would definitely recommend using this card for Dragon Pulse, but be prepared to either lose a lot of cards from your deck quickly or devise a way to get those discarded cards back into your deck or hand. If you know your opponent is going to have lots of EX cards in your deck, this card wouldn't be a bad card to use just because it can do 60 damage a turn for one energy card against those Pokemon. Looking at the two Rayquaza EX cards from this set, both can do major damage, this one can do 100 damage for three energy cards, the dragon type one can do 130 damage for four energy cards so it really comes down to what kind of deck you're building since the dragon type card uses fire and lightning type energy cards.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is an average EX Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set. This card is decent overall having one poor move, unless you're facing an EX, and one good move doing 100 damage a turn. So again, if you're building a deck and need a bit more power, definitely give this Rayquaza EX card a look.

Answer: True and False. Rayquaza IS the only regular EX that has two versions included in the Roaring Skies expansion. However, Shaymin-EX also has another version, however it's second version came in an erlier expansion, so I am not sure if this counts.

(Oh and by the way, you said: "Rayquaza is the only regular EX card in the set to include 'to' versions."", instead of 'to" you were supposed to right 'two'... lel.
