Tapu Koko GX -- Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Review

Tapu Koko GX Guardians Rising
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Tapu Koko GX from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Set.  Tapu Koko GX is a Basic, Lightning type Pokemon card, with a HP of 170.  This card does not have a weakness or a resistance type, and it has a two Colorless Energy card retreat cost.  Tapu Koko GX's Ability is called Aero Trail, it says that when you move this card from your hand to your Bench, you may move any amount of Lightning type Energy cards from your other Pokemon to Tapu Koko GX, if you do this, you have to switch Tapu Koko GX with your Active Pokemon.  Besides the Ability, this card has one regular move and one GX move.  This card's regular move is called Sky-High Claws, for three Energy cards, two Lightning and one Colorless, this move does 130 damage.  Tapu Thunder GX is the name of this card's GX move, for three Energy cards, two Lightning and one Colorless, this move does 50 damage times the number of Energy cards attached to all of your opponent's Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, first off, the way a Pokemon GX works is that it is used instead of a regular Tapu Koko card, so you do not need to first play Tapu Koko and then evolve it into Tapu Koko GX.  In play, only one GX move can be used during the entire game, and once a Pokemon GX is knocked out, two prize cards are taken instead of one.  So knowing how a GX card works, this is a pretty great one to use in a Lightning type deck.  Ideally, you would keep this card in your hand until you want to use it in the Active Pokemon spot, you would then utilize its Ability, getting three Energy cards on it right away and putting it in the Active Pokemon spot, therefore allowing you to either do 130 damage with Sky-High Claws, or potentially limitless damage with Tapu Thunder GX.  I would definitely use this card for its GX move, you should easily be to able to knock out the defending Pokemon with its GX move, I think it is worth using just the once in a game.  So, if you're looking for some major power in your deck, plus a speedy card to set up, I would highly recommend this card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average Pokemon GX from the Guardians Rising set.  Other than having a little lower HP than other GX cards this card is pretty good.  Although it can't be used as a starter type Pokemon, with its Ability, especially later in games, this card can become pretty dominant and I would definitely consider using this card in a deck.
