Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Nuzleaf from the Steam Siege Pokemon Card set. Nuzleaf is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon card, with an HP of 70. It has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Nuzleaf does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is called Harden and for one grass energy card this move prevents damage from your opponent during their next turn if that damage does 60 or less. Nuzleaf's second move is called Razor Leaf and for two colorless energy cards this move does 20 damage.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Nuzleaf is a Stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Seedot into play (I reviewed Seedot from this set yesterday) and then evolve Seedot into Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf does have a Stage 2 evolution in Shiftry, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, that you'll probably want to use with this Pokemon line but since I haven't reviewed that card yet, the strategy below will act like Nuzleaf is the final evolution in this line. So if you read my review of Seedot you'll know that I thought it was a very poor Basic Pokemon card and one that could not be used on its own, since it had a low HP and the only move it had prevented it from being knocked out, if you got a heads when flipping a coin. So knowing this about Seedot and looking at this Nuzleaf card, this card is pretty similar in that it has a low HP, and a move that prevents damage from your opponent. This card does have a move that does damage when attacking, but again, I would not use either of these two Pokemon without Shiftry because this card has too low of an HP and has a weak move, and is geared towards more of just stalling in the active Pokemon spot until you can get Shiftry into play.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating. In my opinion this is a well below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Steam Siege set. Outside of having two moves, this card doesn't have much for positives, it has a really low HP, two under-powered moves, and just nothing that makes this card usable on its own. So together with Seedot from this set, I would give both cards a 1 out of 5 rating, this is a line to avoid.

Trick question! If you want to get really technical, it can evolve into Shiftry at Lvl. 14, but it needs a Leaf Stone in order to evolve at any time.

Nuzleaf evolve into Shiftry with a leaf stone. Earliest level would be at level 14.
