Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Furfrou from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set. Furfrou is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Furfrou does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is called Collect, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to draw a card. Furfrou's second move is called Tight Jaw and for two colorless energy cards this move does 30 damage and if you get a heads when flipping a coin paralyzes the defending Pokemon.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Furfrou is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card. With that being said, since this card is a colorless type Pokemon card, you can use it in any type deck, and use Double Colorless energy cards with it as well. This card would be okay as a starter type Pokemon. You could use it in the active Pokemon spot right away to draw several cards into your hand to help setup your benched Pokemon, or you could attach a Trick Coin trainer card to this card and use Tight Jaw hoping to get a heads every turn when flipping a coin and paralyzes the defending Pokemon, thus giving you more time to set up your benched Pokemon. Because this card is better as a starter type Pokemon instead of later in the game, you shouldn't use many of these cards in a deck, stick with only one of these in a deck if you decide to use this card at all.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set. The only downfall to this card is that it requires two energy cards to do damage to the defending Pokemon instead of just one. But, you can still use this card as a starter type Pokemon since it has two moves, and can attack the first turn if you get one energy card on it.
