Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Sealeo from the Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card Set. Sealeo is a stage 1, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80. Sealeo is the stage 1 evolution of Spheal, there is a Spheal card in this set and I reviewed that card yesterday, Sealeo's stage 2 evolution is Walrein and I'll be reviewing that card tomorrow. Sealeo has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Sealeo does not have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Ice Ball and for two energy cards, one each of water and colorless, this move does 30 damage. Sealeo's other move is called Aurora Beam and for three energy cards, two colorless and one water, this move does 40 damage.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since this is a stage 1 Pokemon, you'll first have to evolve Spheal into Sealeo to use this card. Like I said yesterday, you'll want to keep Spheal on the bench until you evolve it into Sealeo, once that happens I would still recommend keeping this Pokemon on the bench because it doesn't have a very high hp and neither of its moves can do much damage. I would recommend getting three energy cards on Sealeo, evolving it into Walrein and then moving Walrein into the active Pokemon spot. I would use Aurora Beam every turn if I had to put Sealeo into the active Pokemon spot, however I would not use this card if I didn't have to, and because of this, I would not include Spheal or Sealeo in a deck that I did not play to use Walrein in. So you'll have to wait until tomorrow to know how many of each card from this line I would use in a deck.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is a horrible stage 1 Pokemon card. It has a low hp, extremely high retreat cost, and two slow moves that don't do much damage at all. I would not recommend using this card at all unless you are specifically using it to get to Walrein.

My daughter got a 8000 hp sealeo card, her friends told her it was a knock off card. Is this true, or is it some special card they put out?
