Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Sneasel ex from the EX Ruby and Sapphire Pokemon Card set. This is a basic, dark type Pokemon card, with an hp of 80. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, a -30 resistance to psychic type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. This card doesn't have a Poke-Power or Poke-Body but it does have two moves, the first move is called Double Scratch which takes one darkness energy card and does 10 damage times the number of heads when you flip two coins. Beat Up is Sneasel's second move, this move does 20 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip a coin for each of your Pokemon in play. This move requires three energy cards, two darkness and one colorless.
PrimetimePokemon's Take:
Sneasel ex's Beat Up move has the potential to do the most of any move of the ex cards I've reviewed from the EX Ruby and Sapphire set, it does depend on some luck flipping a coin and a full bench but this card can do quite a bit of damage. The artwork on this card is average, it doesn't have much for a background of the holo, most black, but I do like how Sneasel is in attack mode, it looks like it is performing Double Scratch and there is a cool looking pattern on the card that makes Sneasel looks like it is in motion. The Illustrator of this card is Rya Ueda. I have this card in my collection.
Pokemon Card Price:
This card sells on eBay for around $4, on Professor-Oak it sells for $7.19 and on PokeOrder it goes for $11.25. So this is one of the least expensive cards from this set as far as ex cards go.
Other ex Pokemon Cards in this set:
The other ex cards from this set are: Chansey, Hitmonchan, Lapras, Magmar, Mewtwo, Scyther, and Electabuzz.
