Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Drampa from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Set. Drampa is a Basic, Dragon type Pokemon card with a HP of 120. Drampa has a x2 weakness to Fairy type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two Colorless Energy card retreat cost. Drampa does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move on this card is called Amass, for one Colorless Energy card, this move allows you to search your deck for a basic Energy card and attach it to this Drampa card. Power Cyclone is this card's second move, for three Colorless Energy cards, this move does 80 damage, however after using this attack, an Energy card must be moved from Drampa to 1 of your Benched Pokemon.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Drampa is a Basic Pokemon card with no evolution forms, you'll only have to use this card in a deck if you want to use Drampa. So knowing this, the only reason this card may be considered at all when deck building is that both of its attacks require Colorless Energy cards, so the card can be used in any type deck. With this being said, I would recommend passing on this card altogether, mainly because it is slow on the attack, even with using Amass first, because Power Cyclone makes you move an Energy card each turn, Drampa is even slower than this when attacking.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating. Despite being a rare, rarity wise, this is a well below average Basic Pokemon card overall, it requires three Energy cards to do damage when attacking, and when doing damage, you must move an Energy card off of Drampa, making it extremely slow to attack and requiring lots of Energy to attack. I would definitely look elsewhere for Basic Pokemon to use in your deck.

True, it is the first set to include it, although to be precise it was first printed as a promo for the guardians rising prerelease kit
