Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Chandelure from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Set. Chandelure is a Stage 2, Fire type Pokemon card, with a HP of 140. It has a x2 weakness to Water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one Colorless Energy card retreat cost. Shady Move is the name of Chandelure's Ability, it says that once per turn you may move 1 damage counter from 1 Pokemon to another Pokemon. Besides the Ability, Chandelure has one move called Super Singe, for one Fire Energy card this move does 50 damage plus Burns the defending Pokemon.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Chandelure is a Stage 2 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Litwick into play and then evolve it into Lampent before you can evolve Lampent into Chandelure, both of those Pokemon are from this set and I've reviewed both of them the last two days. If you've read my reviews of those cards you'll know that I thought both cards were below average overall. The knock on both Pokemon in this line so far are their low HP, besides the HP, both Pokemon have one move that requires one Energy card to use, so they are quick on the attack and can do a fair amount of damage. But because both Litwick and Lampent have below average HP, I would strictly try and use this line for Chandelure's Ability. You can either put a Pokemon with a very high HP on your Bench and move damage from your Active Pokemon to that Pokemon every turn, or you could use Shady Move to spread damage around on your opponent's Pokemon and knock out their weaker Benched Pokemon. Overall, I think this is a great card to use in a spread attack type deck specifically, and I could certainly see using a 1-1-1 line of this Pokemon family.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. In my opinion this is an above average Stage 2 Pokemon card from the Guardians Rising set. Other than just having one move, this card is solid overall and has a great Ability, meaning you never have to put this card into the Active Pokemon spot to be useful. So again, if you're building a spread attack type deck, or have a lot of Pokemon with high HP, this entire line should certainly be considered. Even though I gave the first two Pokemon in this line 2 out of 5 ratings, I would give this entire line a 3 out of 5 rating.

Lampent evolves into Chandelure using a Dusk Stone so it can evolve as early as level 41
