Mawile -- BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Review

Mawile BREAKpoint Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mawile from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set.  Mawile is a basic, metal type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to psychic type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mawile does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Tight Jaw and for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage, plus can paralyze the defending Pokemon if you get a heads when flipping a coin.  Mawile's second move is called Cavernous Chomp, and for three colorless energy cards this move does 50 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mawile is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, this card could be an effective starter type Pokemon in a deck, since it has a high HP, quick move, and a low retreat cost, but since the move, which requires one colorless energy card, can only do 10 damage total, it won't be that good for too long, plus, Cavernous Chomp is under-powered.  But overall, if you're going to use this card in a deck, it can be used in any type deck out there, but unless you're using 4 Double Colorless energy cards in a deck, this card won't do much other than at the beginning of the game, so I would definitely not recommend using more than 1 of these cards.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set.  Even though Cavernous Chomp on this card is under-powered, I still think this card is average overall since it requires colorless energy cards to attack, can do damage very quickly, and can also inflict a special condition on the defending Pokemon.
