Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Florges EX and Florges EX Full Art from the Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Set. Florges EX is a basic, EX, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 160. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Florges does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is called Lead, for one fairy type energy card this move allows you to search your deck for a supporter card and put it into your hand. Florges's second move is called Bright Garden, for two energy cards, one each of fairy and colorless, this move does 20 damage times the number of grass and fairy type Pokemon you have in play.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, because Florges EX is a basic Pokemon card you won't need to use any other cards with this card. But remember, because this card is an EX card, if this card is knocked out, two prize cards are taken instead of one. So knowing this about Florges EX, the only time I would even consider using this card in a deck is if you're using solely grass, fairy or a combination of both types in a deck. I say this because if you're not using these types, this card can hardly do any damage for an EX card. So if you are using this card in the specified type deck, I would wait until you have a full bench, then get Florges into the active Pokemon spot and use Bright Garden every single turn. I would much rather use a different trainer card or supporter card in my deck instead of using Florges for its Lead move.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is a below average EX Pokemon card from the Phantom Forces set. Like I mentioned, if you aren't using this card in a majority grass and/or fairy type deck, do not use this card at all, and it would get a 1 rating from me. If you do decide to use this card in a deck, I would recommend using only one since this card may end up doing only 20 damage a turn if you only have Florges in play.
