Druddigon -- Steam Siege Pokemon Card Review

Druddigon Steam Siege Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Druddigon from the Steam Siege Pokemon Card Set.  Druddigon is a basic, dragon type Pokemon card with a HP of 120, it has a x2 weakness to fairy type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Druddigon does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Proud Fang, for two colorless energy cards this move does 20 damage plus 60 more damage if your opponent has any BREAK Pokemon in play.  Druddigon's second move is called Giga Claw, for three energy cards, one each of water, fire, and colorless, this move does 100 damage, however when using this move, you must flip two coins, if both are tails, this move does nothing.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Druddigon is a basic Pokemon with no evolution forms, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, the main reason to use this card in a deck is to prevent your opponent from using BREAK cards in the active Pokemon spot and if they do have one there, being able to do 80 damage a turn for one Double Colorless energy card.  Giga Claw doesn't do much for me, yes it does do above average damage, but it may do no damage at all and it requires three different energy cards to attack.  So, when deck building, I could see using 1 of these cards just to prevent BREAK cards.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a slightly below average Basic Pokemon card from the Steam Siege set.  Even though this card is getting a below average rating from me, if used against BREAK cards or in a water and fire dual type deck, this card can be pretty good.  But without those situations, this card is slow on the attack and under-powered.

Druddigon -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Druddigon Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Druddigon from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Druddigon is a basic, dragon type Pokemon card with an hp of 110, it has a x2 weakness to fairy type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Druddigon does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Revenge, for two colorless energy cards, this move does 20 damage plus 70 more damage if any of your Pokemon were knocked out by your opponent last turn.  Druddigon's second move is called Dragon Claw, for four energy cards, two colorless, and one each of water and fire, this move does 80 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Druddigon is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, I could definitely see if you're building a dual type deck of water and fire Pokemon to use this card in that deck. You could use 1 or 2 of these cards in your deck, set them up on your bench, and then as soon as one of your Pokemon gets knocked out, move Druddigon to the active Pokemon spot, use Revenge one turn doing 90 damage then either retreat Druddigon back out or put 4 energy cards on Druddigon and use Dragon Claw the rest of the turns.  This card in your deck will definitely give you a step up on your opponent every time one of your Pokemon is knocked out and may prevent your opponent from knocking out your Pokemon if they know you can come right back and knock out theirs with Druddigon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Even though I really like Revenge on this card and Druddigon has a very high hp, this card is still average in my opinion, since Dragon Claw is an average move that takes a long time to set up, and you can't really just use Revenge every time a Pokemon gets knocked out because when you retreat Druddigon you'll have to put two more energy cards on it each time since its retreat cost is higher.  But overall, if you're building a dual type deck that has fire and water energy cards in it, this card is definitely worth a look.

Druddigon -- Plasma Blast Pokemon Card Review

Druddigon Plasma Blast Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Druddigon from the Plasma Blast Pokemon Card Set.  Druddigon is a basic, dragon type Pokemon card with an hp of 100. It has a x2 weakness to dragon type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Druddigon does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Big Swing, this move requires one fire energy card and does 40 damage, unfortunately if you get a tails when you flip two coins, this move does nothing.  Druddigon's second move is called Shred, this move requires three energy cards, two colorless and one water, and does 60 damage, this move's damage is not affected by anything on the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Druddigon is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, even though this card is a dragon type card, it requires both water and fire energy cards to attack.  Big Swing is a worthless move in my opinion, so you could easily get away with putting this card in a solely water type deck.  If you do choose to use this card in a deck, I wouldn't use more than 1 in that deck, I would set up Druddigon on the bench, put three energy cards on it and use Shred when you can.  I personally would not use this card in a deck because it is a bit slow to use, and it has to be used in a dual type deck if you want to fully utilize the card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average basic Pokemon card from the Plasma Blast set.  This card is very average overall and even though it is average I wouldn't use it in a deck.  This card has a solid hp of 100 and two moves, but Big Swing is definitely risky, and Shred is average at best.  So unless you are desperate for one more card in your deck, I wouldn't use this card in a deck.

Druddigon -- Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Review

Druddigon Plasma Storm Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Druddigon from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Set.  Druddigon is a basic, dragon type Pokemon card with an hp of 110. It has a x2 weakness to dragon type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Druddigon does not have an Ability, but it does have two moves.  The first move this card has is called Guard Press, this move requires two colorless energy cards and does 20 damage to your opponent's active Pokemon and reduces any damage done to Druddigon during your opponent's next turn by 20.  Druddigon's second move is called Dragon Claw, this move requires four energy cards, two fire, one water, and one colorless, and does 90 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Druddigon is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  Because Dragon Claw requires four energy cards to use, I would suggest setting up this card on your bench.  Even though this card is Dragon type, you'll want to put this card in a dual type deck that includes both water and fire energy cards.  Because Druddigon doesn't have an extremely high hp compared to Pokemon with similar attacks, try not to move this card into the active Pokemon spot before it has four energy cards on it, if you have to move it in early you can always retreat it for only one energy card or use Guard Press until you can get enough energy cards on Druddigon to use Dragon Claw.  Because Dragon Claw requires so many energy cards to use and such a variety of types, I would only use one of these in a deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average basic Pokemon card from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card set.  I do like that this card has a good hp for a basic Pokemon card, a low retreat cost, and two moves, but I don't like that Druddigon's best move requires so many energy cards to use and different types of energy cards at that.
