Tyrunt -- Furious Fists Pokemon Card Review

Tyrunt Furious Fists Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Tyrunt from the Furious Fists Pokemon Card Set.  Tyrunt is a restored (Basic), fighting type Pokemon card with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to grass type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Tyrunt does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Gnaw, for two energy cards, one each of fighting and colorless, this move does 30 damage.  Tyrunt's second move is called Crunch, this move requires three energy cards to use, two colorless and one fighting, and does 50 damage, plus if you get a heads when flipping a coin, your opponent must discard an energy card attached to their active Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Tyrunt is a Restored Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Tyrantrum, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, you'll more than likely want to use this card with that Pokemon.  However, since I haven't reviewed that card yet, I'll just act as though I plan on using this card without its evolution.  So, on its own of course you'll have to get the card into play using the Trainer called Jaw Fossil, this trainer card allows you to search the bottom 7 cards of your deck and if you find an Tyrunt there you can put it onto your bench.  Other than that, you can't get Tyrunt into the active play area.  So if you choose to use this card in a deck, you'll need to include 1 Jaw Fossil trainer for each Tyrunt you plan on using.  I personally would not use this card in a deck without Tyrantrum.  I say this because not only is Tyrunt not that great, but you have to add more cards in your deck than you should have to just to get Tyrunt into the active Pokemon spot.  If I were to use this card in a deck, I would use at a maximum 2 of these cards, and try and get 1 Tyrunt into the active Pokemon start to start the game, then get two and then three energy cards on it to attack.  This card does have a good HP so it should be able to last quite a while in the active Pokemon spot at the beginning of the game with many Pokemon being only able to do 10 or 20 damage a turn at the beginning.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  So in my opinion, this is a below average Restored Pokemon card from the Furious Fists set.  I do like that this card has a high HP, and two moves, but this card is a Restored Pokemon, which makes it harder to use, because you have to include more cards in your deck for basically a Basic Pokemon, plus neither of the moves this card has are above average.  So you're definitely better off if building a fighting type deck to use a Pokemon line Hitmonlee or Landorus from this set.
