Spritzee -- BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Review

Spritzee BREAKpoint Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spritzee from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set.  Spritzee is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Spritzee does not have an Ability and it only has one move.  The only move that this card has is called Beat and for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Spritzee is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Aromatisse, which I'll be reviewing tomorrow, you'll more than likely want to use this card with that Pokemon.  However, since I haven't reviewed that card yet, I'll just act as though I plan on using this card without its evolution.  So, on its own, unless you desperately need some starter type Pokemon cards in your deck, I would look elsewhere for a card to use for your deck.  The main reason I say this is because Spritzee has a low HP, other than that, this card has a low retreat cost and a quick move.  It would be better if you also were using Aromatisse because you could use this card for a turn, then evolve it.  So of course, if you do have this card in the active Pokemon spot your only option is to use Beat every turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  So in my opinion, on its own, without considering Aromatisse, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card that is essentially average overall except for its low HP.  So like I said above, there are plenty of better Basic Pokemon cards to use out there, but this one isn't too bad.

Spritzee -- BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Review

Spritzee BREAKthrough Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spritzee from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set.  Spritzee is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 40.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Spritzee does not have an Ability and it only has one move.  This move is called Flail and for one colorless energy card does 10 damage times the number of damage counters on this card.

So, on its own, I cannot recommend using this card in a deck, mainly because of its low HP and the fact the only time Spritzee can do damage is when it has damage on itself, meaning this card wouldn't be able to attack to start the game if in the active Pokemon spot.  So unless you need to use this card for Aromatisse, do not use this card in a deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating.  So in my opinion, on its own, without considering Aromatisse, this is a well below average Basic Pokemon card.  I do like that this card can potentially do up to 30 damage a turn, but in order to do so this card will be closed to being knocked out, so because this card can't be used as a starter Pokemon and has such a low HP, I am giving this card my lowest rating and would not recommend using this card in a deck.

Spritzee -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Spritzee Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spritzee from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Spritzee is a basic, fairy type Pokemon card with an hp of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Spritzee does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Fairy Wind, for one fairy type energy card this move does 10 damage.  Spritzee's second move is called Fickle Attack, this move requires two energy cards to use, one each of fairy and colorless, and does 30 damage, however you must flip a coin when you use this move, if you get a tails the move does nothing.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Spritzee is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Aromatisse, you'll more than likely want to use this card with that Pokemon, however there is not an Aromatisse card in this set, so you'll have to go back and read my X and Y review of Aromatisse to see if you should use that card.  Because there isn't an Aromatisse card in this set I'll just act as though I plan on using this card without its evolution.  So, on its own I would not recommend using this card in a deck.  The only way I would consider using it is as a starter type Pokemon, but because the better of the two moves that Spritzee has, Fickle Attack, it can only hit about 50% of the time and with a low hp of only 50, I would shy away from using this card.  Of course if you have this card in a deck, possibly because you're using it with Aromatisse, I would try and keep it on the bench and evolve it, or just put it into the active Pokemon spot early, put two energy cards on it, and hope you get lucky with Fickle Attack.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  This card is just lacking overall on what it can do, but it isn't lacking from a variety of moves, it just has poor ones, plus a low HP to boot.  So this Basic Pokemon card is a sub-par card in my opinion and one that should not be used on its own.

Spritzee -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Spritzee Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Spritzee from the X and Y Pokemon Card Set. The first move that this card has is called Sweet Scent, for one fairy type energy card this move heals 20 damage from one of your Pokemon.  Spritzee's other move is called Flop, for two colorless energy cards this move does 20 damage.

So, on its own I could definitely see using this card in a deck.  I like both of the moves it has, the only bad thing about this card is its hp, so for this reason I would only use up to 2 of these cards in a deck.  I would of course start using Flop until one of my benched Pokemon was ready then I would retreat Spritzee to the bench, or if you get Spritzee into the active Pokemon spot later in the game you'll want to consider using Sweet Scent to heal your benched Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average basic Pokemon card from the X and Y set.  Besides having a below average hp, everything else from this card is average and for those reasons I would definitely use this basic Pokemon card in a fairy type deck.
