Snorlax -- Fates Collide Pokemon Card Review

Snorlax Fates Collide Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Snorlax from the Fates Collide Pokemon Card Set.  Snorlax is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 140, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost.  Snorlax does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Toss and Turn and for three colorless energy cards this move does 30 damage plus 90 more damage if you use this move while Snorlax is asleep.  Snorlax's second move is called Swallow and for four colorless energy cards this move does 50 damage, plus it heals from Snorlax the same amount of damage you do to the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Snorlax is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, the only situation I would use Snorlax in is if you have a way of putting Snorlax to sleep every turn, then for three energy cards you could do 120 damage a turn.  If you can't do this, do not use this card in a deck, it has a way too high retreat cost, and both moves it has are under-powered and slow on the attack.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is a slightly below average Basic Pokemon card from the Fates Collide set.  I like the fact that this card has two moves, a solid HP, and requires colorless energy cards to attack, but overall this card just isn't that great, neither move this card has does above average damage on its own, and this card is way too slow on the attack to warrant use in a deck.

Snorlax -- BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Review

Snorlax BREAKthrough Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Snorlax from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set.  Snorlax is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 120, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost.  Snorlax's Ability is called Plump Body and says that any damage done to Snorlax by attacks is reduced by 30.  Besides the Ability, Snorlax has just one move called Knock Away, this move requires four colorless energy cards to use, and does 50 damage plus 30 more damage if you get a heads when flipping a coin.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Snorlax is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, there is really no reason to use this card in a deck, at least in my opinion.  It is very slow on the attack, like most Snorlax cards are, and can only do below average damage unless you get a heads when flipping a coin, and even then, it is essentially an average move.  So unless you want to eat up a bunch of energy cards to attack with this card and discard a bunch of energy cards when retreating, do not use this card in a deck.  The only way I would use this card in a deck at all, is if you plan on having 4 Double Colorless energy cards in your deck, then potentially you would only have to attach two energy cards to this card to attack.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a slightly below average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKthrough set.  Even though this card has a high HP, and a move that can do up to 80 damage a turn, plus an effective Ability, I just don't think this card is that good.  It is too slow on the attack and too under-powered for me to consider it even average.

Snorlax -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Snorlax Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Snorlax from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Snorlax is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 130, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost.  Snorlax's Ability is called Stir and Snooze and makes you flip 2 coins between turns if Snorlax is asleep and if either of them are tails Snorlax is still asleep.  Snorlax's only move is called Sleepy Press, this move requires four colorless energy cards and does 120 damage, plus this move heals 20 damage from Snorlax, but it puts Snorlax to sleep.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Snorlax is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, I would not use this card in a deck because it requires so many energy cards to use and the retreat cost on this card is extremely high.  If you were to use this card in a deck, it could be used in any type deck, and I would recommend not using more than 1 and including many trainers in the deck that can awaken Snorlax.  That way, you can get four energy cards on Snorlax on the bench, move it to the active Pokemon spot, use Sleep Press a couple of turns, using the trainer cards that I mentioned, then retreat Snorlax before it will be knocked out.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  Even though this card has a high HP and can do major damage, I am giving this card a below average rating because it is so slow to attack, goes to sleep when attacking, and has a really high retreat cost.  So I would not recommend using this card in a deck, it is just too costly to use.

Snorlax -- Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Review

Snorlax Plasma Storm Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Snorlax from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Set.  Snorlax is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 130. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost.  Snorlax's Ability is entitled Block and says that as long as Snorlax is your active Pokemon, your opponent's active Pokemon cannot retreat.  Besides the Ability, Snorlax only has one move, this move is called Teampact and for five colorless energy cards this move does 30 damage times the number Team Plasma Pokemon you have in play.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Snorlax is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  Because Snorlax requires so many energy cards to attack, I would only recommend using one of these in a deck, it doesn't matter what the type of that deck is since Snorlax can use all energy types.  Just make sure that you have plenty of Team Plasma Pokemon in your deck so that Teampact can actually do a good amount of damage, since you have to put 5 energy cards on Snorlax to use the move.  So of course you're going to want to set this card up on your bench so that it doesn't take forever for you to actually use Teampact if Snorlax is put in the active Pokemon spot too early.  And because Snorlax only has one move you'll have to use Teampact every turn.  So after looking at this card I would not recommend using this card in a deck at all.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an extremely below average basic Pokemon card from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card set.  This is probably one of the worst cards I've reviewed so far from the Plasma Storm set and a card I would stay away from at all costs.  Snorlax does have a good hp but that is about it for this card.  Snorlax's Ability can only be used if it is in the active Pokemon spot, Teampact takes forever to use, and if you don't have any other Team Plasma Pokemon in play the move does hardly any damage, plus if you want to retreat Snorlax you have to discard a ton of energy cards.  So again, stay away from this card.

Snorlax -- Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Review

Snorlax Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Snorlax from the Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Set.  Snorlax is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 100. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost.  Snorlax does not have an Ability, but it does have two moves.  The first move it has is called Double Lariat, this move requires three colorless energy cards and does 40 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip 2 coins.  Snorlax's second move is called Rollout, this move requires four colorless energy cards and does 60 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Snorlax is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  Besides not having any evolutions, because this is a colorless type Pokemon that does not require a specific type of energy to attack, this card will work in any type deck.  However, with that being said, I would definitely be cautious about putting this card in any deck at all.  I say this because even though this card does have a high hp, it is extremely slow, and doesn't do much damage wise.  So if you wanted to use this card in a deck, make sure to use only one, and then try and keep this card on your bench until it has at least three energy cards on it, you can then move it into the active Pokemon spot and use Rollout whenever you can, especially if it will knock out the defending Pokemon, but if you're feeling lucky you can always give Double Lariat a go.  I wouldn't use this card in a deck, unless all my other Pokemon are extremely quick and they can't do much damage, this card would then be a nice change to the other cards you have in your deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is below average basic Pokemon card.  This card does have a good hp, but both of Snorlax's moves are below average, and both of its moves are slow and take a long time to develop.  What really hurts this card is that it has a high retreat cost, so if you're forced to put this card into the active Pokemon spot before its ready, it won't be able to do much for quite awhile.
