Mienshao -- Furious Fists Pokemon Card Review

Mienshao Furious Fists Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mienshao from the Furious Fists Pokemon Card Set.  Mienshao is a stage 1, fighting type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mienshao does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Aero Turn, for one fighting energy card this move does 40 damage, however after using this move you must return Mienshao and all cards attached to it back into your hand.  Mienshao's second move is called High Jump Kick, this move does 40 damage for two colorless energy cards.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mienshao is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Mienfoo into play (I reviewed Mienfoo from this set yesterday) and then evolve Mienfoo into Mienshao.  If you read yesterday's review of Mienshao, you'll know that I thought that card was an average to slightly below average Basic Pokemon card, but I still wouldn't use the card in a deck on its own since it could do 30 damage a turn but relied on a coin flip.  So knowing this about Mienfoo and looking at this Mienshao card, if you just need two Pokemon cards into your fighting type deck, this line wouldn't be a bad choice, you could use a 1-1 line of Mienfoo and Mienshao and try and get Mienshao into the active Pokemon quickly and be able to do 40 damage a turn, then when it is close to getting knocked out switch from using High Jump Kick to Aero Turn and return this card to your hand.  If you aren't just looking for 2 cards to use, I would look elsewhere for a fighting type Pokemon line to use.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average to slightly below average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the Furious Fists set.  This card really doesn't have any negatives about it, but it doesn't have anything great about it either.  The card has an average HP, low retreat cost, and two pretty average moves.  Even though I gave both Mienfoo and Mienshao 3 out of 5 ratings, together I would only give them a 2 rating and would probably avoid this line when building a deck.

Mienshao -- Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Review

Mienshao Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mienshao from the Boundaries Crossed Pokemon Card Set.  Mienshao is a stage 1, fighting type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mienshao does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  Mienshao's first move is called Knock Off, this move requires two energy cards, one each of colorless and fighting, and does 20 damage plus you get to discard a card from your opponent's hand.  Mienshao's second move is called Double Whip and this move does 70 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip two coins, this move requires three energy cards to use, two colorless and one fighting.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mienshao is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Mienfoo into play (I reviewed both Mienfoo cards from this set the past couple of days) and then evolve Mienfoo into Mienshao.  If you read the past two reviews, I would definitely recommend using the Mienfoo card numbered 87/149 instead of the earlier card from this set.  Mienfoo is a good starter type Pokemon card so you may have it in the active Pokemon spot when you evolve it into Mienshao.  So regardless of when you move Mienshao into the active Pokemon spot, use whichever move you have the sufficient amount of energy cards for.  I would always recommend using Double Whip over Knock Off except for when the defending Pokemon will be knocked out by 20 damage or less.  After reviewing both Mienfoo and Mienshao from this set I would recommend using a 1-1 line of Mienfoo and Mienshao in a fighting type deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average stage 1 Pokemon card.  This card has an average hp, and two pretty average to slightly above average moves.  I like that this card has a low retreat cost yet can do up to 140 damage in 1 turn.  Overall, I would give the full line of Mienfoo and Mienshao from this set a 3 out of 5 rating.

Mienshao -- Noble Victories Pokemon Card Review

Mienshao Noble Victories Pokemon Card Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mienshao from the Noble Victories Pokemon Card Set.  Before I get too far into this review, if this is your first time coming to my blog to read my reviews, since you're interested in the free Pokemon online TCG code cards, good luck to you, and if you have any cards that you would like for me to review please comment with the card you would like me to review.  However, I have reviewed all the rare cards from almost all the newer sets, and most of the uncommon cards.  So back to the card review...This is a stage 1, fighting type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Mienshao doesn't have an Ability but it does have two attacks, the first attack is called Feint and for one colorless energy card it does 30 damage, and this move can't be affected by resistance.  Mienshao's second move is called High Jump Kick which does 50 damage for two fighting energy cards.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Mienshao has one move that requires colorless energy and another move that requires fighting energy, I think this card would work well in a dual type deck.  I would try and get Mienshao into the active Pokemon spot as soon as possible since Feint is a quick move that does a good amount of damage, but I would depend on High Jump Kick as soon as I got two energy cards on Mienshao.  Since Mienshao has a low retreat cost, you'd only have to discard one energy card from it to retreat it, so that is probably what I would do if it was close to being knocked out.  I would use Mienshao in a mostly fighting type deck, and I would use a 3-2 or 2-1 line of Mienfoo and Mienshao in that deck.  This card is a card you would want to use early in the game, to knock out, or do a significant amount of damage to basic Pokemon on your opponent's team.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  For a stage 1 Pokemon card that is an uncommon card, I think this card is quite good, it has average hp, a below average retreat cost, and two great moves, neither do too much damage, but both do above average damage for their attack cost, and both moves are quite quick.
