Hawlucha -- Steam Siege Pokemon Card Review

Hawlucha Steam Siege Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Hawlucha from the Steam Siege Pokemon Card Set.  Hawlucha is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with a HP of 80, it has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Hawlucha's Ability is called Sudden Cyclone and says that when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench, you may have your opponent switch their active Pokemon with one of their benched Pokemon.  Besides the Ability, Hawlucha just has one move called Acrobatics, this move requires 2 colorless energy cards to use and does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each heads you get when flipping two coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Hawlucha is a basic Pokemon with no evolution forms, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, there are really two strategies you can try with this card.  The first strategy would be to include trainer cards in your deck or to use a Pokemon's Ability so that you can continuously move Hawlucha from your hand to your bench, and back to your hand again.  By doing this, you can make your opponent rotate their active Pokemon every turn and spread damage around in that way.  The other strategy with this card would be to include 4 Double Colorless energy cards in your deck and putting one on Hawlucha to start the game, you could then do up to 60 damage a turn for only one energy card and do this amount of damage the first turn of the game.  The first strategy with this card would only require 1 Hawlucha card, the second strategy would be best executed with 4 of them.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average Basic Pokemon card from the Steam Siege set.  In my opinion, this card gives you a lot of possibilities when deck building, and for this reason it gets an above average rating from me.  This card fits in all type decks, and can do major damage every turn if you have some luck, or it can aid in the spreading of attacks.  Either way, when deck building, this is a card worth considering.

Hawlucha -- Fates Collide Pokemon Card Review

Hawlucha Fates Collide Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Hawlucha from the Fates Collide Pokemon Card Set.  Hawlucha is a basic, fighting type Pokemon card with an hp of 70, it has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Hawlucha does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Backflip, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to draw a card.  Hawlucha's second move is called Wicked Jab and for two energy cards, one each of fighting and colorless, this move does 30 damage, plus if you get a heads when flipping a coin the defending Pokemon is paralyzed.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Hawlucha is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, ideally you would want this card in the active Pokemon spot to start the game since you could potentially draw a card you need the first turn with Backflip and then after that do above average damage every turn with Wicked Jab and if you flip a heads, paralyze the defending Pokemon and allow your self to have time to set up your benched Pokemon.  So if you're building a fighting type deck, this card is definitely one that should be considered and I could see using multiples of this card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Fates Collide set.  This card would work as a solid starter type Pokemon card in a fighting type deck.  It has an above average move and two good moves.  So like I said, definitely give this card a look if you're building a fighting type deck.

Hawlucha -- BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Review

Hawlucha BREAKthrough Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Hawlucha from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set.  Hawlucha is a basic, fighting type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Hawlucha does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called High Jump Kick, for one fighting energy card this move does 20 damage.  Hawlucha's second move is called Skyward Kick and for two fighting energy cards, this move does 40 damage, this move is also not affected by resistance.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Hawlucha is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, if you're building a fighting type deck, this card is a must have in that deck, it is the perfect starter type Pokemon, so I could see putting up to four of these in a deck.  Attach a Fighting Fury Belt trainer from the BREAKpoint set to this card and it has 120 HP and can do 30 damage a turn for only one energy card.  The reason I am so high on this Hawlucha card is that it only requires one energy card to attack and does above average damage, plus it has a low retreat cost and can do up to 40 damage a turn.  So if you want a quick attacking, mildly powerful, Basic Pokemon card in your fighting type deck, look no further than this Hawlucha card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 5 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a very good Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKthrough set and a Basic Pokemon card that should be strongly considered for any fighting type deck out there.  Use this card as your first Pokemon in play and do 20 damage a turn from the get go all while able to set up your benched Pokemon.  So you cannot go wrong with Hawlucha in a fighting type deck.

Hawlucha -- Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Review

Hawlucha Roaring Skies Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Hawlucha from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Set. The first move that this card has is called Tackle, for one fighting energy card this move does 10 damage.  Hawlucha's second move is called Midair Strike, for three colorless energy cards, this move does 40 damage plus if you get a heads when flipping a coin, it does 40 more damage for a total of 80 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Hawlucha is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, If you're building a fighting type deck and are looking for a starter type Pokemon, this Hawlucha may not be a bad one to use.  All you would have to do is put one energy card on this card and it could do 10 damage a turn, plus it has a low retreat cost and high HP so it could stay in the active Pokemon spot awhile while you set up your benched Pokemon, but if you are feeling a bit luckier, you could always put 3 energy cards on this card, attach the Trick Coin card to this card, and try and do 80 damage a turn with Midair Strike.  I personally wouldn't use this card in a deck, but if you choose to, I wouldn't use more than 1 of these in a deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set.  I am not a huge fan of Midair Strike by an means, but overall this card is solid, with an above average HP, low retreat cost, and two very average moves, it could definitely hold its own in a deck.

Hawlucha -- Furious Fists Pokemon Card Review

Hawlucha Furious Fists Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Hawlucha from the Furious Fists Pokemon Card Set.  Hawlucha is a basic, fighting type Pokemon card with an hp of 70, it has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a free retreat cost.  Hawlucha's Ability is called Shining Spirit and says that when attacking using Flying Press, the move isn't affected by weakness or resistance.  Besides the Ability, Hawlucha only has one move called Flying Press, this move requires one fighting type energy card and does 60 damage, however this move only works on EX Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Hawlucha is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, you'll definitely not want to include more than one of these cards in a fighting type deck if you decide to use one at all.  Because Flying Press can only attack EX cards, your best bet strategy wise would be to get Hawlucha on your bench, put 1 energy card on it, then when your opponent puts an EX card into the active Pokemon spot, you can move Hawlucha into the active Pokemon spot, use Flying Press once, then retreat Hawlucha the next turn.  However, because Hawlucha only has 70 HP, you're more than likely going to get knocked out right away if you face an EX Pokemon with more than 70 HP remaining, so the only way I would even use this card would be if my active Pokemon gets knocked out, then I move Hawlucha into the active Pokemon spot and can knock that EX card out by doing 60 HP, then your opponent doesn't have any Pokemon in play that will be able to knock out Hawlucha that next turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Furious Fists set.  There is quite a bit of strategy to be used around this card, but overall I don't think the strategy is worth it and would not recommend using this card in a deck.  I would rather include more powerful Pokemon in my deck that won't get knocked out in one turn by an EX card.  So even though this card has a really quick move that does major damage, and a free retreat cost, I would not recommend using this card in a deck because it only works against EX cards, so it severely limits what this card can do.
