Furfrou -- BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Review

Furfrou BREAKpoint Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Furfrou from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set.  Furfrou is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 80, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Furfrou does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Collect, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to draw a card.  Furfrou's second move is called Tight Jaw and for two colorless energy cards this move does 30 damage and if you get a heads when flipping a coin paralyzes the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Furfrou is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, since this card is a colorless type Pokemon card, you can use it in any type deck, and use Double Colorless energy cards with it as well.  This card would be okay as a starter type Pokemon.  You could use it in the active Pokemon spot right away to draw several cards into your hand to help setup your benched Pokemon, or you could attach a Trick Coin trainer card to this card and use Tight Jaw hoping to get a heads every turn when flipping a coin and paralyzes the defending Pokemon, thus giving you more time to set up your benched Pokemon.  Because this card is better as a starter type Pokemon instead of later in the game, you shouldn't use many of these cards in a deck, stick with only one of these in a deck if you decide to use this card at all.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set.  The only downfall to this card is that it requires two energy cards to do damage to the defending Pokemon instead of just one.  But, you can still use this card as a starter type Pokemon since it has two moves, and can attack the first turn if you get one energy card on it.

Furfrou -- Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Review

Furfrou Phantom Forces Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Furfrou from the Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Set.  Furfrou is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 90, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Furfrou does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Tight Jaw, for two colorless energy cards this move does 20 damage, plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin the defending Pokemon is paralyzed.  Furfrou's second move is called Sharp Fang, this move requires three colorless energy cards to use and does 50 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Furfrou is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, I would not recommend using this card in a deck, mainly because Furfrou is fairly slow on the attack and neither move it has is that great.  If you do choose to use this card in a deck, you can fit it into any type deck since it can use any energy cards you like.  I would try to get this card into the active Pokemon spot early in the game so you can do 20 damage or 50 damage a turn with either of Furfrou's moves.  Later on in the game, it may make more sense to do only 20 damage if you can paralyze the defending Pokemon and make them unable to attack Furfrou during their next turn.  Again, though, I would not recommend using this card in a deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Phantom Forces set.  This card does have a good HP, low retreat cost, and two moves, but overall it just isn't that great of a card to use in a deck.  Both of the moves this card has are below average, and I think it would hurt your deck more to use this card in it, than it would to leave it out.

Furfrou -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Furfrou Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Furfrou from the Flashfire Pokemon Card Set.  Furfrou is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 90, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Furfrou does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Tight Jaw, this move requires two colorless energy cards and does 20 damage plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin, the move paralyzes the defending Pokemon.  Furfrou's second move is called Sharp Fang, and for three colorless energy cards this move does 50 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Furfrou is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, this card isn't the greatest in my opinion but if you just need one more card to use in any type deck, I would definitely consider this one.  Strategy wise, you would want to use this card earlier in the game, since it can do up to 50 damage for three energy cards, that way, you could do 20 damage with Tight Jaw and if time permitting, you could do 50 damage with Sharp Fang, then when you get one of your benched Pokemon set up, one that can do more damage, you can easily retreat Furfrou because it only has a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Another good thing about this card, besides it fitting into any deck, is that it does have 90 HP, so if you use this card as a starter type Pokemon, it will give you plenty of time to set up your benched Pokemon before you have to retreat Furfrou since most opposing Basic Pokemon will probably only do 10 or 20 damage a turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a slightly below average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  There are positives and negatives on this card that I will go over, but when you balance them all out, there are more negatives than positives.  So for positives, this card has a high HP and low retreat cost, it can fit into any type deck, and the card has two moves, however, neither of the two moves that this card has are that great, and for a Basic Pokemon card the moves this card has are both a little on the slow side for the amount of damage they can actually do.  So overall, this card is not the greatest but it definitely isn't the worst Basic Pokemon card out there, so you could definitely use this card in your deck if need be.

Furfrou -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Furfrou Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Furfrou from the X and Y Pokemon Card Set.  Furfrou is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 90, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Furfrou's Ability is called Fur Coat and says that any damage done to Furfrou by attacks is reduced by 20.  Besides the Ability, Furfrou just has one move called Energy Cutoff, this move requires three colorless energy cards and does 80 damage. Plus, if you get a heads when you flip a coin, you may discard an energy card attached to the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Furfrou is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, because the only move on this card requires three colorless energy cards to use, you shouldn't use more than one of these in a deck.  You'll want to get this card onto your bench and put three energy cards on it so you can move it to the active Pokemon spot and use Energy Cutoff every turn.  This move is an above average move and it may prevent your opponent's active Pokemon from attacking as well if you can discard some energy cards from it.  I would definitely recommend using this card in a deck because Furfrou's attack and Ability are both good and because this card is a colorless type card it will work in any type deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average to slightly above average basic Pokemon card from the X and Y set.  There isn't anything I don't like about this card, but nothing out of this card is that out of the ordinary that I would give the card an above average rating.  This doesn't prevent me from wanting to use this card in a deck because I definitely would consider using it in almost any type deck I'm building.
