Fletchling -- Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Review

Fletchling Guardians Rising Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the Guardians Rising set.  Fletchling is a Basic, Colorless type Pokemon card with a HP of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to Lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to Fighting type Pokemon, and a one Colorless Energy card retreat cost.  Fletchling does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move on this card is called Growl, for one Colorless Energy card, this move makes it so your opponent's Pokemon during their next turn do 20 less damage to Fletchling when attacking.  Flap is the name of this card's second move, for two Colorless Energy cards, this move does 20 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchling is a Basic Pokemon card with a Stage 1 evolution in Fletchinder, and a Stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, which I'll be reviewing the next couple of days, you'll more than likely want to use some of those Pokemon with this card, however, since I have not reviewed any of those cards yet, I will just act like Fletchling does not have any evolution forms and that it will be used on its own.  On its own, because this card has a low HP, I would not recommend using this card in a deck.  Plus, this card requires two Basic Energy cards to do damage when attacking.  So, if used on its own, without any of its evolution forms, there is no reason to use this card in a deck.  If used with its evolution forms, Growl does make a good way to prolong the time Fletchling can be in the Active Pokemon spot while you try to get to Fletchlinder in your hand.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Guardians Rising set.  Overall, this card is one not worth using in a deck, but it still can be used in any type deck since it is a Colorless type Pokemon, and it has two moves.  This card would be better off used on the Bench to get to Talonflame.

Fletchling -- Steam Siege Pokemon Card Review

Fletchling Steam Siege Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the Steam Siege set.  Fletchling is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with a HP of 40.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchling does not have an Ability and it only has one move called Peck that does 20 damage for one colorless energy card.

On its own, I can't recommend using this card in a deck, all because of its low HP, if this card had an HP of 60, I would highly recommend it as a starter type Pokemon since it can do above average damage every single turn with Peck.  So if you can figure out a way to increase this Pokemon's HP, via a trainer card or another Pokemon's Ability, this card definitely has some potential.  Otherwise, this card is a very limited, weak, Basic Pokemon card overall.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Steam Siege Pokemon card set.  Even though this card has a really low HP, and only one move, since this card can fit into any type deck and do above average damage every turn, I am giving this card a slightly below average rating instead of my lowest rating.  But when deck building, unless you plan on using Fletchling with its evolution forms, look elsewhere for a Basic Pokemon to use.

Fletchling -- Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Review

Fletchling Roaring Skies Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the Roaring Skies set.  Fletchling is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 40.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchling does not have an Ability or Ancient Trait and it only has one move.  The only move that this card has is called Acrobatics, this move requires one colorless energy card to use and does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each heads you get when you flip two coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchling is a basic Pokemon card with a Stage 1 evolution in Fletchinder, and a Stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, which I've reviewed in the past since both are fire type Pokemon in this set, you can use this card with those Pokemon, however after reviewing both of those cards, neither are very good, so I will be looking at this Fletchling card on its own and see if its worthy of use.  So, on its own, this card shouldn't be used mainly because of its low HP, 40 HP on the first turn of the game may be okay, but after that you're going to get knocked out very quickly.  Too bad too because Acrobatics is a pretty good move for only one energy card, but you still can't use a card with such a low HP.  So overall, I can't recommend any Pokemon from this family in this set.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set.  This card basically boils down to the fact that it has a good move, but the HP on this card is just way too low to merit use.  So knowing this entire line, I would give this family a 1 out of 5 rating, it is extremely poor overall.

Fletchling -- Phantom Forces Pokemon Card Review

Fletchling Phantom Forces Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the Phantom Forces set. Fletchling is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchling does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Peck, for one colorless energy card this move does 10 damage.  Fletchling's second move is called Quick Attack, for two colorless energy cards this move does 10 damage, plus if you get a heads it does 20 more damage, for a possible total of 30 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchling is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Fletchinder and a stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, which I've reviewed in the past since both Pokemon are fire type, I would recommend you go and read the reviews I have written for those two Pokemon.  To summarize, I thought Fletchinder was a bit below average because even though it had two good moves, its HP was a little low, but I did give Talonflame an above average, it had two excellent moves overall, but again had a little lower HP, but I still recommended the line favorably.  So this post is just going to assume I hadn't reviewed those two Pokemon yet and consider Fletchling on its own.  So on its own, if you really need one more Basic Pokemon card in your deck this card could definitely be used because it can attack quickly and it can do a fair amount of damage, if you're lucky, for only two energy cards.  This card runs into the same problem as the other two Pokemon in this line in that its HP is a bit too low, thus making me a little more weary of using the card in a deck on its own, but it would be a fine start to using this entire line if you choose to do that.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Phantom Forces set.  Other than having a bit lower HP than desired, this card is pretty good, since it can fit into any deck, can do 10 damage right away for only one energy card, and can do up to 30 damage with Quick Attack for only two energy cards.  So this card is definitely worth a look when building a deck.

Fletchling -- Flashfire Pokemon Card Review

Fletchling Flashfire Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the Flashfire set.  Fletchling is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 50.  It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Fletchling does not have Ability and it only has one move.  The only move that this card has is called Quick Attack, this move requires one colorless energy card and does 10 damage, plus if you get a heads when you flip a coin, the move does 20 damage instead of 10.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchling is a basic Pokemon card with a stage 1 evolution in Fletchinder and a stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, and surprisingly I have reviewed Fletchinder from this set already since it was a fire type Pokemon, and there is not a Talonflame in the set, you should go back and read my reviews of Fletchinder from this set and Talonflame from the X and Y set to see what I think of those cards, but in this review I will just review Fletchling as a Basic Pokemon not knowing anything about its evolutions.  So on its own, I could definitely see using one of these in any type deck as a starter type Pokemon, I would try and get this card into the active Pokemon spot early and use Quick Attack every single turn, thus giving you time to set up your benched Pokemon since that move only requires one energy card.  Then when you get one of your benched Pokemon set up, you can move that benched Pokemon into the active Pokemon spot and retreat Fletchling for only one energy card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Flashfire set.  I like that this card can attack very quickly and possibly do above average damage every turn if you get a heads when you use Quick Attack.  Plus you can use this card in any type deck since it is a colorless type which really helps this card out, the only downside to this card is that it only has 50 HP.  So overall, if you need a solid Basic Pokemon card for your deck to use as a starter, I would definitely recommend taking a hard look at this card.

Fletchling -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Fletchling Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Fletchling from the X and Y Pokemon card set. The first move that this card has is called Me First, for one colorless energy card this move allows you to draw a card.  Fletchling's second move is called Peck, this move requires two colorless energy cards and does 20 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Fletchling is a basic Pokemon with a stage 1 evolution in Fletchinder and a stage 2 evolution in Talonflame, you'll probably want to use this card with its evolutions.  I have actually reviewed those two Pokemon earlier in the month and you can read those reviews yourself.  Both of those cards are average to slightly below average so this Pokemon family isn't a Pokemon line that is a must have for any deck.  If you just plan on using this Fletchling in your deck as a starter type Pokemon, it is an average card to use.  Because it does have two moves, you can move it to the active Pokemon spot early in the game, then use Me First the first turn and Peck after that.  I personally wouldn't use this card in a deck, or the Pokemon family because it has too low of hp, but it wouldn't be the worst card you could use in your deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average to slightly below average basic Pokemon card from the X and Y set.  I like this card because it has two decent moves, but I am giving this card a below average rating because it has a lower hp, and neither move Fletchling has are that great.
