Bouffalant -- Primal Clash Pokemon Card Review

Bouffalant Primal Clash Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Bouffalant from the Primal Clash Pokemon Card Set.  Bouffalant is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 110, it has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Bouffalant's Ability is called Sap Sipper and says that this Pokemon's attacks does 40 more damage against grass type Pokemon.  Besides the Ability, Bouffalant just has one move called Derail, this move requires three colorless energy cards to use and does 80 damage, plus you may discard a special energy card if there is one attached to your opponent's active Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Bouffalant is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  With that being said, you may want to add one of these cards to your deck if you have an inclination that your opponent will be using some grass type Pokemon in their deck because if they do, get Bouffalant set up as quickly as possible and then move it to the active Pokemon spot to do 120 damage per turn.  Even if you aren't facing a grass type Pokemon, Derail still is a well above average move, so if you need some power in your deck, don't be afraid to use this card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Primal Clash set.  Other than being slow on the attack, this card is pretty excellent, it has an above average HP, decent retreat cost, and a very powerful move that is even more powerful against grass type Pokemon, being a colorless type Pokemon and fitting into any type deck, will make this card pretty usable in many decks out there.

Bouffalant -- Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Review

Bouffalant Plasma Storm Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Bouffalant from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Set.  Bouffalant is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card with an hp of 100. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Bouffalant does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Tool Breaker, this move requires one colorless energy card and lets you discard a Pokemon Tool card that is attached to the defending Pokemon.  Bouffalant's second move is called Hammer In, this move requires four colorless energy cards and does 70 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Bouffalant is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card.  Even though Bouffalant's Tool Breaker move only requires one colorless energy card to attack, I would keep this card on the bench and attach four energy cards to it so when moved to the active Pokemon spot it could use Hammer In right away.  I don't ever foresee using this card for its Tool Breaker move.  Because of this, I would not recommend using this card in a deck, because it is too slow, doesn't have enough hp, and cannot do enough damage to warrant use.  However, if you are forced to use this card in your deck, definitely do not use more than 1 of these.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an extremely below average basic Pokemon card from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card set.  This card as well as the Snorlax card from this set are both miserable cards.  I would definitely not recommend using this card in a deck, it would be a waste of four energy cards in my opinion.  So that's it, I don't have much else to say about this card because it is that bad.

Bouffalant -- Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card Review

Bouffalant Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Bouffalant from the Dragons Exalted Pokemon Card Set.  Bouffalant is a basic, colorless type Pokemon card, with an hp of 100.  It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost.  Bouffalant's Ability is called Bouffer and it says that any damage done to this Pokemon by attacks is reduced by 20.  Besides the Ability, Bouffalant just has one move called Gold Breaker which takes three colorless energy cards and does 60 damage plus 60 more damage if you're facing an EX Pokemon card.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since this is a basic Pokemon card with no evolutions, you only need to include this card in the deck if you want to use it.  Since Bouffalant is quite slow, I would recommend keeping Bouffalant on the bench until you get three energy cards on it, and then once you do, if you know your opponent has an EX card in their deck, I would a actually keep this card on the bench until your opponent plays that EX card, that way you could use Gold Breaker and do 120 damage per turn against that EX Pokemon.  Also, by keeping this card on your bench, it may prevent your opponent from putting that EX Pokemon into their active Pokemon spot.  Regardless of when you do put Bouffalant into the active Pokemon spot, your only choice is to use Gold Breaker every turn.  I would recommend using this card in almost any deck, but I would not use more than 1 in any deck because it does require 3 energy cards to attack.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an above average basic Pokemon card from the Dragons Exalted Pokemon card set.  I like how this card has an above average hp, an Ability that will make its hp seem even higher, and one ordinary move that becomes extraordinary if you're facing an EX Pokemon.  Plus since this card is a colorless type Pokemon you don't have to worry about the type of energy cards you attach to it.
