Aromatisse -- BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Review

Aromatisse BREAKpoint Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Aromatisse from the BREAKpoint Pokemon Card Set.  Aromatisse is a stage 1, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost.  Aromatisse does not have an Ability but it does have two moves.  The first move that this card has is called Dizzying Cologne which does 20 damage plus 40 more damage if the defending Pokemon is an EX card for one colorless energy card.  Aromatisse's second move is called Fairy Wind and for two energy cards, one each of colorless and fairy, this move does 40 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Aromatisse is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Spritzee into play (I reviewed Spritzee from this set yesterday) and then evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse.  If you read yesterday's review of Spritzee, you'll know that I thought that card was a slightly below average Basic Pokemon, it had a quick attack and low retreat cost, but its HP was below average so it couldn't be used on its own.  But, if you use these two cards together, you could start with Spritzee in the active Pokemon spot, then during the second turn, add an energy card to it and evolve it into Aromatisse and do 40 damage a turn with Fairy Wind, or you could keep this line on the bench and move it to the active Pokemon spot to face an EX card and do 60 damage a turn for only one energy card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set.  This card is a solid Fairy type Pokemon card from the BREAKpoint set and if you're building a fairy type deck, this card should garner should consideration, it is not over-powering by any means but can still do some damage fairy quickly.  Combined with Spritzee from this set, I would give this line a 3 out of 5 rating.

Aromatisse -- BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Review

Aromatisse BREAKthrough Pokemon Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Aromatisse from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set. The first move that this card has is called Heavy Perfume, for one fairy type energy card this move confuses the defending Pokemon and puts 6 damage counters on it for confusion instead of 3, if they get a tails when flipping a coin when trying to attack.  Aromatisse's second move is called Hug and for one fairy type energy card this move does 30 damage, and it makes your opponent's active Pokemon unable to retreat during its next turn.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Aromatisse is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Spritzee into play (I reviewed Spritzee from this set yesterday) and then evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse.  If you read yesterday's review of Spritzee, you'll know that I thought that card was a below average Basic Pokemon card, and one that I would not recommend using in a deck, mainly because it had a low HP, and the only move it had depended on how much damage you had on Spritzee, so this card could do very little early in the game and would easily get knocked out in one turn late in games.  So knowing this about Spritzee and looking at this Aromatisse card, the first thing you'll notice is that this card is fast on the attack, so you could easily be doing 30 damage a turn two turns into the game, so you could use a 1-1 line of this family in a fairy type deck.  You could also use Heavy Perfume early in games and if the opponent tries to attack and fails when confused it could knock itself out.  So I would definitely consider using just a 1-1 line of this family in a fairy type deck, but it isn't one that needs to be in any deck out there.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion, this is an average Stage 1 Pokemon card from the BREAKthrough set.  I like that this card has an average HP, low retreat cost, and two quick attacking moves.  The only downside with this card is that it won't be so useful later in games and that if you use this card with the Spritzee from BREAKthrough, you need to set the line up on the bench because overall I can only give this line a 2 out of 5 rating.

Aromatisse -- Pokemon X and Y Card Review

Aromatisse Pokemon X and Y Card
Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Aromatisse from the Pokemon XY Card Set.  Aromatisse is a stage 1, fairy type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90.  It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to darkness type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy retreat cost.  Aromatisse's Ability is called Fairy Transfer and says that as often as you like during your turn you may move a fairy type energy card attached to one of your Pokemon to another one of your Pokemon.  Aromatisse's second move is called Fairy Wind, this move requires three energy cards, two fairy, and one colorless and does 60 damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Aromatisse is a stage 1 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Spritzee into play (I reviewed Spritzee from this set yesterday) and then evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse.  If you read yesterday's review, you'll know that I thought Spritzee was an average Pokemon card that could be used on its own as a starter type Pokemon because it had two moves, one that could do damage and the other that could heal damage from any of your Pokemon.  So with this in mind, I could definitely see myself using both Spritzee and Aromatisse in a deck.  I would make sure to use at least a line of 2-2 because you can not only use Spritzee as a starter type Pokemon and then evolve it into Aromatisse and do 60 damage a turn with Fairy Wind, but you can use Aromatisse on your bench and utilize its Ability to move whatever Fairy type energy cards you want on your Pokemon from one to another.  So if you're building a Fairy type deck, this card because of its Ability alone is a must have.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 5 out of 5 rating.  In my opinion this is an above average stage 1 Pokemon card from the X and Y set and a card that should be in any fairy type deck out there.  Aromatisse's Ability is amazingly good and will help your entire deck and also help you win the game.  So together, I would rate Spritzee and Aromatisse from the X and Y set a 4 out of 5 rating, this isn't a perfect rating, but again, it should definitely be used in your fairy type deck, especially if you have a Pokemon that discards fairy type energy cards when it attacks.
