Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Dhelmise from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Set. Dhelmise is a Basic, Psychic type Pokemon card with a HP of 120. Dhelmise has a x2 weakness to Darkness type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to Fighting type Pokemon, and a two Colorless Energy card retreat cost. Dhelmise's Ability is called Steelworker and says that your Metal type Pokemon in play do 10 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon. Besides the Ability, Dhelmise just has one move called Anchor Shot, for three Energy cards, one Psychic and two Colorless, this move does 70 damage, plus it makes your opponent's Active Pokemon unable to retreat during your opponent's next turn.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Dhelmise is a Basic Pokemon card with no evolution forms, you'll only have to use this card in a deck if you want to use Dhelmise. So knowing this, if you're building a Psychic and Metal type deck, this card should definitely be included in it since you can both use it from your Bench to increase your Metal type Pokemon's attacks and in the Active Pokemon spot, doing 70 damage per turn for three Energy cards. Even if you're only using Metal type Pokemon in your deck, I would still recommend keeping at least one of this card in your deck and using its Steelworker Ability from your Bench.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. So, in my opinion, this is an above average Basic Pokemon card from the Guardians Rising set. Like I mentioned above, if using this card in a Metal type deck, it is a great card since it can help your entire deck, and you don't even have to move it into the Active Pokemon spot. Besides its great Ability, this card's one move does above average damage, you just have to wait awhile until it can attack since it is slower.
