Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Delibird from the Guardians Rising Pokemon Card Set. Delibird is a Basic, Water type Pokemon card with a HP of 90. Delibird has a x2 weakness to Metal type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one Colorless Energy card retreat cost. Delibird does not have an Ability, but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is All the Presents, for one Colorless Energy card, this move allows you to flip a coin until you get tails, for each heads, you may search your deck for a card and put it into your hand. The second move on this card is called Surprise Attack, for one Water Energy card, this move does 40 damage, however, you must flip a coin when using this move, if you get a tails, the move does nothing.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Delibird is a Basic Pokemon card with no evolution forms, you'll only have to use this card in a deck if you want to use Delibird. So knowing this, I would only recommend using Delibird if you're using 4 Trick Coin Trainer cards in your deck, otherwise this card is way too risky to use since both of its moves are based off of coin flips. Both moves on this card have the potential to be very good, and if you're able to flip at least one heads every turn, this card would make for an excellent starter type Pokemon in a Water type deck, since it can do 40 damage per turn and it has a high HP, giving you plenty of time to set up your Benched Pokemon.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. So, in my opinion, this card is a below average Basic Pokemon card from the Guardians Rising set. In a perfect world, where heads comes up a majority of the time, this card is certainly above average, but like I mentioned above, without some way to guarantee heads appearing more often than not, I would not recommend using this card in a deck.
