Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Cresselia from the BREAKthrough Pokemon Card Set. Cresselia is a basic, psychic type Pokemon card with an hp of 110, it has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Cresselia's Ability is called My Way and says that if there is a Stadium card in play that Cresselia has a free retreat cost. Other than an Ability, Cresselia's one move is called Moonlight Gain, for three energy cards, two colorless and one psychic, this move does 70 damage and heals 20 damage from itself.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Cresselia is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card. With that being said, even though this car does require three energy cards to attack, it would be a useful card to play in a deck because it does do above average damage when attacking, plus heals damage, making Cresselia's high HP seem even higher. So I would say if you're building a psychic type deck, and you plan on using some Stadium cards in your deck, there is no doubt that you should be using this card in that deck, you can then get three energy cards on Cresselia on the bench and then move Cresselia in and out of the active Pokemon spot at will since it will have a free retreat cost.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is an average, yet very solid, Basic Pokemon card from the BREAKthrough set. The only thing holding this card back from being a lot better is the fact it requires three energy cards to attack, other than that, this card has a good HP, a good Ability, and a very powerful move.
