Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Victini from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Set. Victini is a basic, fire type Pokemon card with an hp of 70, it has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Victini does not have an Ability but it does have two moves. The first move that this card has is called Me First, for one colorless energy card, this move allows you to draw a card. Victini's second move is called Psy Bolt, this move requires two energy cards to use, one each of fire and colorless, and does 20 damage, plus if you get a heads when flipping a coin, the defending Pokemon is paralyzed.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Victini is a basic Pokemon with no evolutions, you only have to use this Pokemon in your deck if you want to use this card. With that being said, this card would be mainly used as a starter type Pokemon since it has a lower HP for a Basic Pokemon that doesn't evolve and the maximum damage it can do is 20 damage a turn. So if you're building a fire type deck, you may want to include one of these cards in your deck, try to get it into the active Pokemon spot early, and you can then get extra cards in your hand quickly by using Me First, or prevent your opponent from attacking, hopefully, with Psy Bolt.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is an average Basic Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set. Even though this card isn't anything special, it is just solid overall and could be used as a starter type Pokemon in a deck. It has a decent HP, two good moves, and a low retreat cost, that would make an alright addition to any fire type deck out there.

You should do a review on that Salamance holo from roaring skies it's the best card that's not an EX
ReplyDeleteI bought my booster boxes from collectors edge they are legit the minimum you should buy booster packs should be 3.50 unless it's a 3 card pack
ReplyDeletePs. Primetimepokemon your the inspiration of why I collect Pokemon cards. Every time I lose interest I watch your videos and then get into buying some more cards, keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteI watched prime time pokemons booster box of roaring skies, it was average holo- ultra rare wise, but ultra rare was very good pulls. I opened one yesterday didn't get 8 EXs 3 of which were full arts like what he did and 4 holos for him. I got 7 EXs 2 were full arts 1 SR, and 4 holos. Very good pulls keep them up
ReplyDeleteOk nvm he got 4 or 5 full arts and a total of 8-9 EX cards
