Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Mega Gallade EX from the Roaring Skies Pokemon Card Set. Mega Gallade EX is a Mega Evolution, EX, psychic type Pokemon card with an hp of 220. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Mega Gallade does not have an Ability and it only has one move. The only move that this card has is called Unwavering Blade, for three energy cards, two psychic and one colorless, this move does 110 damage plus it does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon that have damage on them.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
Before I start with the strategy, remember that this card is a Mega Evolution card and an EX card so if you use this card in your deck and it gets knocked out, your opponent gets to take two prize cards instead of one and when you evolve an EX card into its Mega Evolution, your turn ends, you cannot do anything else. So knowing these things, you'll always want to use Mega Evolution cards with caution, with that being said, this card works perfectly with the Gallade EX card from this set. I would use a 1-1 line of these two cards in a spread damage type deck. I would either get Gallade EX into the active Pokemon spot early in the game and use Swift Lunge to get 30 damage on several of your opponent's Pokemon or use a Pokemon that can do 10 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon, either way, you eventually want to get Mega Gallade into the active Pokemon spot so you can use Unwavering Blade, not only does this move do major damage to the defending Pokemon, but if you use this card in a spread damage type deck like I'm suggesting, you should be able to do 30 damage to each of your opponent's benched Pokemon since they all have damage on them.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this is a well above average Mega EX Pokemon card from the Roaring Skies set. This card is even more than above average if used in a spread damage type deck and I could see a deck built around this card not a problem. So combined with Gallade EX from this set, I would give both cards a 4 out of 5 rating, if you're a fan of psychic type Pokemon, this line is a great one to use.

ReplyDeleteDear Primetime Pokemon. I am Fabio Sousa, and I am a fan for a long time. I live in Brazil, do not speak English right, but I tried to talk to you. About review card of the day, I say that's wrong (false) because Rayquaza-EX and M-Rayquaza-EX (both Dragon type), do not have full-art version, only the Rayquaza of colorless type and rest of other pokémon EX. Thanks and more.
ReplyDeleteI do not do videos, plus my channel is under the name "Fabio Sousa" (with a picture of a Darth Vader) and the link is this:
