Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Togekiss from the Plasma Storm Pokemon Card Set. Togekiss is a stage 2, colorless type Pokemon card, with an hp of 140. It has a x2 weakness to lightning type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Togekiss's Ability is called Bright Veil and says that as long as Togekiss is your active Pokemon, any item card that your opponent puts into play cannot affect Togekiss. Besides the Ability, Togekiss only has one move. The only move this card has is called Return, this move requires one colorless energy card and does 30 damage. Besides doing the damage the move also allows you to add cards to your hand from your deck until you have 6 cards in your hand.
Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Togekiss is a stage 2 Pokemon card, you'll first have to get Togepi into play and then evolve it into Togetic before you can evolve Togetic into Togekiss, both of those Pokemon are from this set and I've reviewed both of them the last couple of days. Neither of the first two Pokemon in this family are very good in this set, both only have one move and below average hp. With that being said, both cards can be put in the active Pokemon spot right away since they only require one energy card to attack and can be used in any deck but I would recommend keeping those Pokemon on your bench until you can evolve them to their final evolution in Togekiss. Once you have Togekiss on your bench, you should be able to move it into the active Pokemon spot quite quickly since it only requires one energy card to attack. Once in the active Pokemon spot you can use Return every turn which allows you to not only do damage but to replenish your hand every turn. I personally would not use this line from the Plasma Storm set in my deck, but you definitely could, if you do choose to use this family, I would suggest using a 3-2-1 line in any type deck.
Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. In my opinion this is a below average stage 2 Pokemon card from the Plasma Storm Pokemon card set. This card continues the trend of all the Pokemon from this family getting below average ratings from me the past couple of days. I do like a few things about this card even though I'm giving it a below average rating. I like that it has a solid hp, low retreat cost, quick move, and a decent Ability. However, I do not like that it only has the one move, and that one move can't do much damage. So overall, I would give this entire Pokemon family, Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss, and 2 out of 5 rating. I would not suggest using the line in your deck.
