Cradily ex -- EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua Pokemon Card Review

Pokemon Card Overview:
Today's Pokemon Card Review is of Cradily ex from the EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua set. This is a stage 2, grass type Pokemon card with an hp of 150. It has a x2 weakness to both fire and water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Cradily's Poke-Body is called Primal Vibes which says that as long as Cradily is your active Pokemon your opponent can't play any Pokemon from their hand to evolve one of their Pokemon in play. Besides the Poke-Body, Cradily has two moves, the first move is called Eerie Light which does 30 damage for two colorless energy cards and makes the defending Pokemon confused. Cradily's second move is called Acidic Poison and does 60 damage plus poisons and burns the defending Pokemon for four energy cards, two each of grass and colorless.

PrimetimePokemon's Take:
Stats-wise, this card is pretty similar to the Blaziken ex card I reviewed yesterday. This card is a great card to use against a deck that uses a lot of stage 2 Pokemon, all you need to do is get Cradily ex into the active Pokemon as soon as possible and then its Poke-Body will prevent your opponent from being able to evolve their Pokemon. Both of Cradily's moves are good, both do a fair amount of damage and inflict tons of special conditions. The artwork on this card was done by Ryo Ueda and is okay. If you really look close at the artwork it looks like Cradily is one of those Chinese dragons in the parade's you see, and the colors are somewhat girly.

Pokemon Card Price:
This card sells on eBay for around $5, on Professor-Oak it sells for $15.32 and it isn't sold on PokeOrder.
